The Alberta Flood generates a great deal of interest amongst most Albertans and for this reason we have a primary focus on a localized distribution. However, natural disasters are of interest to a large segment of society around the world, therefore we will have a secondary focus on media attention that is international.

Given the 1st year commemorative timing, the artistic quality of images, the fresh perspective of these unpublished images, combined with the vast number of people that had a first hand connection to the 2013 flood, For The Love Of A City by Neil Zeller is positioned to become the legacy book that captures the spirit of a Calgary, undaunted by adversity and challenges.

This project will rely on a strong social media marketing strategy including many influential media partnerships locally and internationally. It is anticipated that this project will receive considerable press, book distribution and visibility for the sponsors involved with it’s success.

Social Media Reach: exceeds 2.4 million. We already have secured confirmation with many online media partners with significant reach such as My Modern Metropolis and Mike's Bloggity Blog

Copies: estimated first edition 2000

Events: Photography exhibitions with book signing

Media Release: scheduled 3; project intro, book launch, exhibition|book-signing. 

Direct-sales: approaching School boards and corporations to purchase books through corporate gifting, as well as an online sale mechanism.

Retail sales:Museum shops, specialty book stores.

Donation: $2.00 from every book will be donated to the on going flood relief at The Calgary Foundation.
